2014 Halloween Parade

The Keystone Assault took part in the 2014 Halloween Parade in Hummelstown. The parade began at Boro Park and ended at Quarry Road. In leiu of wearing costumes, the ladies of the Assault chose to march in full gear, including shoulder pads. The Assault proudly carried banners proclaiming "These are not costumes, they are uniforms. Football, not just for boys anymore". The message was clear and well received within the community. The cheers and applause from the men, women and children in the crowds was inspiring, especially due to the fact that the Assault's home field is located right in Hummelstown. The Assault continue to strive to get the message out there that football is no longer a sport only for men. The Assault had a great time taking part in the event and look forward to being in the Holiday parade in Harrisburg on Saturday November 22.
